Mana Soup
Ingredients
- 1 Large Carrot Diced
- 1 Medium Onion Diced
- 1 Large Crown Broccoli Finely Chopped
- 4 cup Pork Stock
- 3 1/2 cup Left Over Ham Chopped
- 2 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 4 cup Shredded Cheese
- 1 Sprig Thyme
Instructions
- Its good if you make the stock yourself, we use a left over spiral ham carcass meat and bone. (Fucking metal) Drown the bitch in water til its submerged with water 3 inches above ham. Throw 2 carrots, 2 celery and onion roughly chopped in and put on low for 8 to 20 hours. The longer you simmer it the more Mana it provides. Drain off stock into a pot. Discard carcass! BOOM! Stock. You could use chicken stock but not as good. -Put Stock in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium high heat -Add Carrot, Onion, Thyme spring and Broccoli -Cook until onions translucent (about 20 mins) -Remove Thyme -In a separate small pan melt butter over medium low heat -Then add flour to the pan and stir until smooth -Whisk in milk slowly to the flour and butter -Boil rue for 2 minutes -Add cheese gradually until combined with milk -Pour cheese rue into stock -Add left over ham, salt and pepper -Heat til ham is hot and serve Wine Pairings: Sweet Riesling Melon de Bourgogne
